u have to go thru prophecies, bit of a treck but its worth it

its near the end of the dessert, just when u get to "the dragons lair" and u have to do "glint's trials"

instead of actually doing the mission, there's a portal in the "pre-mission" area.....just port from there, and bam ^_^

Dryders don't use lava font on you for some reason.

A bigger problem is that the grasps will use Fear Me, which can cause you to miss your SF if several of them drain you at the wrong time.

don't get me wrong A/E has been around for a while now, but with a A/ME (and other ppl's builds, so i will not take credit for that part) i can farm the entire first lvl in 4 minutes flat and most of the second in 15-20

the builds been posted on this forum alrdy.....just not the technique :P

edit:: on hard mode lol::
it has, mod deleted the post

It can be cleared, the biggest problems you'll face are the graspings and boredom.

My gf clearer Tombs solo yesterday with the SF/sliver build (we started same time but I lagged out in 3rd room).

I tried again today and completed it. Only thing you have to watch out for is not pulling too many grasps, and when you have them on you...make sure you let sliver kill the grasps first. For the worm pops, just note where they pop and be ready for them coming. Make sure you have a fresh SF up, then when they pop just stand still by them and they wont slide back into the earth. Sliver kills them fairly quickly if you have enough enemy attacking you.

Another good hint - especially for level 3 and 4 - is to allow the casters to follow you to the worms (once you've killed those annoying grasps). That way you can take the worms down quicker. Also, don't kill everything and then try to kill the Darkness guys...keep some caster on you and hitting you, it'll make taking them down much quicker

The only skills I found myself using were Glyph of Swiftness, DP, SF, Glyph of Lesser Energy, Intensity and Sliver...as I don't have the Vanguard skill.

You don't really get much, but it's fun to do at least once

idk if anyone exp or notice it. But how are the Fingers of Chaos able to use Skill "Fear Me!" You have to hit the person to gain adr. They are gaining adr without hitting you while SF is up. Allowing them to use Fear me alot, which is me personally screwing me over.

* Adrenaline is gained by health loss. Fear Me is fully charged when you loose 80% to total health. So each grasp is able (and will) to use It exactly one before death.

* they have "To the Limit!" skill. which means that they fully charge fear me in 1:20 within agroing even if you deal no damage.

If you overaggro, you kill them too fast in begining (~ 3 fearmes from inital slivers) and are very likely that enough will be alive by 1:20 fearmespike you are guaranteed to get..

Which means THAT:

1) you need -5e martial weapon of enchanting / Shield set to hide energy when castin slivers (cast gole with normal set -> switch to lowevene set -> enjoy casting slivers/standard with 0 energy and enjoy fearmes doing exactly nothing to you). When 1:20 approaches, make sure you are at low ene set too.

also, have 15/-1 focus with +5e/20% enchanting weapon ready for emergency cast. (sadly, you cant use also 15/-1 wand or bad stuff happens on next recast ...)

ty. I was wondering why they were using Fear Me so much. That explain it very well. My only thought against this was to have Caster Set with +5 Martial Weapon and +30/15/-1 just in case of heavy energy degan. The mean time using a Staff helps but most iv seen was -20 energy lost that was with 4 Fear Me's.

Daggers. I was having loads of energy issues with sliver but not with daggers.

lol, impossible? Me and a whole bunch of alliance members cleared it last night. The wurms can be taken down with the dagger build at http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:A/...Daggers_Farmer.

EDIT: Just make sure that if you multiple ppl with you when doing this, that they all have SF or stay away from the wurms while you kill them or the wurms will target the ones without SF and spread AoE dmg to you.

Just another note about possible low energy due to too many grasps...I also had with me a totem axe and an earth offhand with +15 en (-1 regen of course). In tricky moments I equipped that to ensure I'd have enough energy for SF. Then switched right back to the staff so the -1 didn't screw things up more.

I only had to do it once or twice due to getting over eager

As for time, I honestly don't know how long it would take without stopping, as I stopped half way for dinner, and at various other times to send emails ect Just find a safe place to stand

I'm doing topk with my mes, it's pretty easy but you need to focus a bit more to keep the sf chains up
it's probably easier for energy thanks to [spirit of failure] and [channeling] but maybe longer, I think something around 2 hours for a full run, I guess I'll have to /age and take screens

Slivers is about 50% faster provided you have the PvE skills for it. Take glyph of lesser energy and you'll be fine.

When you solo TopK how long does it take? I know when people started in 06 it took 3-4 hours but is that still the case?

I'd say it depends on the build, if a mes can do it in 2 hours (in HM), chances are sin builds will do it faster

Be careful when doing HM. I tried to clear 2nd level with my Mesmer using the UW farm build and wurms were a bit lame. I knew they will knock me down, so I prepared for that as much as I could, but when I started to degen them, graspings around me scattered and I began to like loose energy. Maybe I should try Me/A with daggers instead of spells? ;d
